About You

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Category Manager ~ Quality & Parts who excels at analysing failure data, implementing strategies to reduce return rates and ensuring that spare parts are available across our distribution and store network.

You’ll Bring:

  • Proven Experience with quality management systems (Jira or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead data driven discussions with the ability to analyse returns data and customer feedback to identify actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Qualification in business or category management field (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Adventure Kings products or previous experience within the outdoor industry (highly desirable)

The Role

As the Category Manager ~ Quality & Parts, you’ll oversee the quality management and parts inventory processes, with a focus on reducing failure rates and improving product quality across the Adventure Kings range.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse product return and quality data regularly to identify patterns, recurring issues, and product failure points.
  • Using data, develop and implement strategies for customer service teams to reduce return rates on products.
  • Drive supplier quality improvements through ongoing product improvements
  • Manage the product change register to ensure transitions and product improvements are rolled out effectively.
  • Work with cross functional teams including product development, procurement and compliance to ensure product changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
  • Manage inventory and supply chain processes to ensure the right spare parts are available, reducing out-of-stock situations.
