More about the role:

  • In this role as an Aged Care Osteopath, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse adult client base with varying needs in residential Aged Care.
  • Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality and evidence-based care, conducting assessments and observations for treatment, massage, manual therapy, exercise prescription, & regular assessments to support their needs.
  • You will work closely with family members, nurses, doctors, and multiple Allied Health teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored physiotherapy treatment plans for residents.
  • Mobility Assessments balance testing & grading, falls risk assessments.
  • Conducting weekly group exercise activities

Skills:

  • Strong clinical skills in delivering evidence-based Osteopath interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients as well as collaborating within a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Ability to assess client’s condition accurately using appropriate tools/techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Osteopathy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Current Police Check
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current Covid Vaccinations
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
