LGT is seeking Education and Care Practitioners, with passion and enthusiasm who have demonstrated experience in bringing learning to life for children birth to five years of age. We have full time, part time and casual opportunities available at the below locations.

ABOUT YOU:
This is the perfect role for you if you have the following:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education; or
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
- Actively working towards Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
- Understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
- Strong, respectful, and open communication skills
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Child Related Activity)
- Police Check
THE ROLE:
- Provide high quality care for children with a focus on ensuring health, safety and wellbeing.
- Create and implement an educational, developmentally appropriate program based on the approved learning framework
- Support children to understand nutrition and ensure all children have access to adequate food and water throughout the day
- Lead and contribute to conversations and reflections about the needs and development of children and use professional knowledge to improve practices
- Communicate effectively and appropriately, with children of various ages, families and other Educators.
- Ensure a safe, clean and stimulating environment where all educators and children are protected from hazards and harm
