About us

Canteen is dedicated to supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, our mission is to provide essential programs, services, and resources that positively impact the lives of 12-25 year-olds facing their own diagnosis, dealing with a close family member’s cancer, or grieving the loss of a loved one. We believe in the transformative power of our team, and together, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Canteen, Camp Quality and Redkite are working together to provide Cancer Hub – a digital hub to help families impacted by cancer more easily access the practical and emotional support they need, when they need it. Online Support is one service offered by Cancer Hub. The primary focus is to provide digital therapeutic, evidence-based interventions to young people aged 12-25, and to parents/carers of children and young people aged 0-25, with a cancer experience; and to moderate and develop our online community (Canteen Connect).

These values ground the way we work at Canteen, and underpin a culture that brings people together, collectively, in an inspiring and positive way.
