Automate leave unassignment

We’ve introduced leave unassignment rules, giving you the power to automate what happens when an employee is unassigned from a leave policy. For instance, you can set a rule to automatically remove the leave entitlement when an employee is unassigned from a corresponding policy. This saves you time and reduces the risk of errors.

Unlock Simpler Logins with Passkeys in the EH Work App.

Passkeys can now be used with the EH Work App. Forget remembering complex passwords – use and manage passkeys directly within the App under Security Settings. It’s all about a faster, more seamless login experience.

Compliance Reporting Just Got Faster.

We’re making it easier and quicker to access your crucial compliance data. We’ve separated the Policy and Induction Content reports into two distinct reports under the Compliance tag. This means less waiting time for your data to load. Plus, we’ve added two handy new pinned report widgets for both, along with additional Custom Security Settings permissions for enhanced control.

Say Goodbye to Manual Pay Rate Template Syncing.

We’re all about automation, and this update is a game-changer. Admins no longer need to manually import Pay Rate Templates from Payroll into your connected HR instance. Now, any changes you make to Pay Rate Templates in Payroll – whether you create, update, or delete them – will automatically sync to HR in real-time. It’s seamless, it’s efficient, and it saves you valuable time.

Pinpoint Leave Entitlement: Accrual from Start Date.

We’re improving leave entitlement accuracy by allowing you to configure leave to accrue directly from each employee’s individual start date, rather than relying on a single calendar date for everyone. This ensures pro-rata calculations are spot-on, supporting compliance with local employment standards and giving you greater flexibility to align with your organisation’s preferences.

Smarter Carry Over Projections.

Planning for the future just got clearer. We’ve enhanced our leave balance forecasting to ensure that carry over amounts are seamlessly included when you’re looking at future years. Plus, we’ve added a helpful tooltip to clearly explain that the forecasted balance includes the employee’s entitled carry over.

Smarter Leave Entitlement Adjustments with Effective Dates.

We’re putting even more precision into leave management. Admins and managers now have the option to set an effective date when assigning or unassigning leave policies to employees. This ensures that leave entitlements are accurately adjusted based on the employee’s time within each policy, giving you more control and accuracy than ever before.

Introducing the All-New Total Compensation Dashboard.

We’re excited to unveil the Total Compensation Dashboard (TCD), a brand-new feature designed to provide a consolidated and comprehensive view of each employee’s total compensation right within their file. Admins can grant view-only access to managers, and with privacy mode enabled for all pay details, you’re in control of the visibility. The TCD includes essential information like base pay rate, employer-contributed pension, and employee-contributed pension, giving you and your managers a holistic understanding of employee compensation.

Introducing Benefits Management.

Get ready to streamline how you manage and communicate company benefits. We’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new Benefits Management tab for admins. Here, you can easily view and assign company benefits to your employees. And the best part? These benefits will soon be visible to your employees on a new Benefits & Perks page that’s just around the corner. Stay tuned for the employee-facing launch.

Seamless P45 document sync from Payroll to HR.

We’re making offboarding even smoother. You can now effortlessly sync P45 documents for terminated employees directly from Payroll to HR. This means those important documents are readily available for employees to view and download within their HR profile.

Hero Points Just Got Even More Rewarding.

We’ve eliminated the employee spend fee, meaning your employees will no longer be charged when they spend their hard-earned Hero Points. We’re also making the fees even more transparent during the purchase flow, so everyone knows exactly what’s happening. It’s all about making Hero Points even more valuable and enjoyable for your team.

Introducing Statutory Neonatal Care Leave & Pay.

We’re implementing crucial updates to support new parents. In accordance with the UK government’s Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023, we’ve introduced a new type of parental leave: Statutory Neonatal Care Leave & Pay. This will allow eligible parents of babies requiring neonatal care to receive up to 12 weeks of leave and, if they qualify, pay. To provide maximum flexibility during this important time, this leave can be taken in blocks (following specific guidelines), with other parental leave options available in between. Our new feature includes pause and resume capabilities for both leave and pay to accommodate these varying needs.

Making Leave Requests Crystal Clear.

Transparency is key, and we’re empowering you to ensure it. Admins can now make notes and/or supporting documentation mandatory for specific leave types. This means fewer back-and-forths and faster approvals.

Keep a Finger on Sick Leave with ‘Notify When Sick’.

(Available to Classic Platinum, and EOS Unlimited subscription tiers)

Staying informed about employee wellbeing just got easier. Admins can now leverage the ‘Notify when sick leave exceeds a number of days in the last 12 months’ template. This allows you to set a threshold, and managers will receive an alert if an employee’s total sick leave within the last year surpasses that specified amount.
