We’re bringing a big, bouncy, family adventure to Tingley, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Play Assistant to help bring the experience to life!

🎯 About the Role

As a Play Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of the guest experience. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll help create memorable visits for families while supporting both our play facilities and catering operations.

You’ll spend time supervising and interacting with guests in our play areas, helping with birthday parties, and supporting our kitchen team during busy periods.

Your day-to-day will include:

✅ Welcoming families with a friendly, upbeat attitude

✅ Supervising play areas (bounce pillows, go-karts, climbing frames & more)

✅ Supporting guests and answering questions

✅ Assisting with the set-up, hosting and running of children’s birthday parties

✅ Serving party food and drinks to guests

✅ Monitoring party activities and helping ensure every celebration runs smoothly

✅ Supporting the catering team during busy periods

✅ Operating the pot wash machine and assisting with back-of-house cleaning duties

✅ Keeping all areas clean, safe and ready for fun

✅ Working as part of a supportive, energetic team

👉 No two days are the same – you could be helping guests enjoy the play facilities, hosting a birthday party, or supporting the catering team behind the scenes whenever extra help is needed.

📅 Hours & Contracts

Hours vary depending on whether we’re in our Peak Season (school holidays) or Off-Peak Season.

Working Pattern

Week 1

• Tuesday: 9:30am – 5:00pm (Peak school holidays only, if required)
• Saturday: 11:30am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: 9:15am – 4:15pm

Week 2

• Tuesday: 9:30am – 5:00pm (Peak school holidays only, if required)
• Saturday: 11:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: 9:00am – 2:30pm

Average fortnightly hours:

• 11.6 hours per week Off-Peak
• 18.6 hours per week Peak
