This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys solving problems, designing practical solutions and leading change.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Head of Operations, you’ll lead improvement initiatives across the Group.

Focused on outcomes rather than methodology, you’ll assess business problems, map processes, design better ways of working and drive implementation through to adoption.

Working with stakeholders, you’ll improve efficiency, client experience and the value of our technology and people through system implementations, process redesign, data, automation and other operational projects.

You’ll need a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure to assess integrations, design future-state solutions and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business improvement, technology and transformation initiatives.
  • Analyse and redesign processes for greater efficiency and scale.
  • Create process maps and future-state operating models.
  • Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual work.
  • Translate business requirements into practical solutions.
  • Shape system architecture, integrations and data flows.
  • Implement and optimise business systems.
  • Turn business data into useful insight, reporting and dashboards.
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable value and drive adoption.

About You

You’ll be curious, commercially minded and committed to improving how businesses work through technology, data and operational insight.

You’ll have:

  • Experience delivering operational, business or technology projects.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving and process design skills.
  • Experience mapping current and future-state workflows.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, platforms, integrations and data flows.
  • Experience with CRM, workflow and reporting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • A clear focus on efficiency, outcomes and business value.

Desirable Experience

  • Degree in Business, IT, Management or a related field.
  • Experience in accountancy, professional services or a multi-entity business.
  • Knowledge of accountancy workflows and practice management systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Power BI, CRM and automation tools.
  • Exposure to digital transformation or continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

Within 12 months, you’ll have delivered high-impact projects, improved processes and reporting, reduced inefficiency and helped build a more integrated, scalable technology environment.

Why Join Affinity Group?

Join a growing business where you’ll have the autonomy to shape operations, influence decisions and deliver meaningful improvements for our people and clients.

If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes and using technology to deliver results, we’d love to hear from you.
