Rail Planning and Controls Lead

Deploy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced rail bias Project Controls Lead for a major rail digitalisation programme.

The role is to lead the planning function within the programme and ensure high-level planning practices are undertaken in line with project deliverables

Key points for the successful candidate include:

• Significant Rail Experience

• Significant Primavera P6 planning experience (10 years at least)

• Ideally, experience in managing a team but not essential

• Experience of major programmes of work and alliancing (£100m+ and preferably Crossrail/HS2/Thameslink type programme experience)

• Ideally experience working both client-side and Tier 1 contractor side

• Experience of Level 1 to detailed level planning

• Experience in the integration of multiple programmes

• Experience in process development and written documentation

• Ideally, railway signalling experience or ETCS / Digital railway experience

• Ideally NEC contract experience

This is a full-time contract role and falls outside IR35 with the rate negotiable
