Description

Long-established Lloyds accredited Independent Connections Provider, with an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and happy staff, require an Electrical Design Engineer with experience of 11kV power distribution / new connection projects.

The role:

Design of new connections (11kV, HV / high voltage) using CAD packages
Liaison with DNO or IDNO and end client
Attend design review meetings
Ensure adherence to best practices, engineering standards and legislation
Carry out design reviews

The person:

Experience as a New Connections Design Engineer / 11kV Design Engineer with an ICP or DNO
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as G81
