The role

This is an ideal position if you are looking for a broad-ranging and flexible accounting role. You will be reporting to the Finance Business Partner and Head of the Accounts Team. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and will be 20-25hours per week, ideally spread across 5 days but subject to discussion.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience working within accounts payable, will be reliable, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills

This is a dual role and will involve but not limited to;

Purchase Ledger Clerk

• Collate and upload purchase invoices

• Prepare weekly payment runs of purchase invoices

• Monitor and respond to internal and external queries in Accounts Payable mailbox

• Monthly credit card and employee expenses reconciliation and data entry

• Department costs breakdown reports

Sales Ledger clerk/Assistant

• Preparation of Sales invoices/fees in conjunction with front office staff across various departments

• Accounts Receivable – liaising with customers over unpaid/overdue invoices

• Send monthly statements to clients detailing outstanding invoices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management

• High attention to detail

• A calm, proficient and professional manner

• Essential to have confidence in using Excel and have strong IT skill

Qualifications and Experience;

• Minimum two years experience in a finance environment

• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (esp Excel)

• AAT or other accountancy qualification desirable

• Access Software experience – desirable (training will be provided)

• Property management software experience – desirable
