Shop Helper

Title: Rental Shop General Labour

Location: Guelph, ON

Wage: $21.00 – $22.00/hr.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4 pm

We’re recruiting for a dependable individual to join the back shop team of a well-established rental company. This hands-on position involves performing basic inventory counts (requiring simple math skills), knowledge of gas powered tools, and working independently to prepare equipment for its next rental.

Job Description

• Ensure rental equipment is in good working conditions

• Complete inventory counts for incoming and outgoing products (chairs, tables, posts etc.)

• Lift up to 50 lbs. when needed

• Use of pressure washer for cleaning large items, small hand tools for minor repairs

• Review delivery contracts and complete required paperwork accurately

Requirements

• Ability to work alone and take initiative to ensure work is completed in a timely manner

• Previous experience and knowledge of gas powered tools and equipment

• Basic math and written skillset

• Safety footwear

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
