About the role
Working closely with the Group Account Director, you’ll play a key role in growing one of our most valued partnerships while also helping us uncover exciting new business opportunities. As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead and uplift a dedicated Account Management team, creating a collaborative, accountable, and innovative culture where great work thrives.
You’ll bring a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of our clients goals, always looking for ways to strengthen the partnership and spot opportunities that add value—for them and for us. Your leadership will be all about building strong, genuine relationships, championing trust, and delivering work that makes a real difference.

Role Responsibilities – Strategic Leadership & Client Growth
- Lead with seniority by guiding the Account Management team to elevate and deliver best-in-class service while ensuring the alignment of client initiatives that realise business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
- Drive Account Growth and strategic service expansion by propelling deep insight into our clients marketing strategies.
- Proactively identify opportunities across Wellcom’s full suite of products and services. Champion upselling and cross-selling initiatives that add measurable value.
- Take a leadership role in driving agency growth by identifying new revenue streams across both existing and adjoining Business Units. Develop and present tailored presentation decks that solve client challenges and elevate enterprise brand impact.
- Along with the Studio Lead and Creative Director, drive the scope and briefing of high-value projects. Delegate Local Area Marketing community-based asset opportunities effectively across Account Management while ensuring briefs are strategically aligned.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- 5–8 years in leading a commercial Account or strategic client management within creative, advertising, or marketing environments; agency background essential.
- Creative agency experience is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully working with a variety of teams – account service, creative, and technical.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Manage up to 5 Business Unit portfolios at one time.
- Highly organised, detailed oriented.
- Strategic and creatively focussed.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong financial understanding including; SLA contracts, quoting and scoping, process, deliverables, and budgets.
