The opportunity

Join a dynamic and growing company as a Site Supervisor, overseeing a portfolio of residential construction projects across Melbourne’s south-east. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to take the next step in their career and play a key role in delivering quality builds on time and to standard. You will be responsible for:

  • Performing regular inspections of construction sites and supervising all on-site activities
  • Supervising day to day operations and leading a team of tradespeople, subcontractors and staff across various construction sites
  • Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and building plans, ensuring compliance with building regulations and codes
  • Supervising, procuring, storing and maintaining all building materials and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of all on-site activities, including site induction and orientation, safety inspections, progress reports, daily logs and material usage.

In addition, you will:

  • Adhere to project timelines and collaborate with team members effectively
  • Encourage positive safety behaviour and promote health and wellbeing by ensuring the workplace is safe and all safety policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) or relevant qualification
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Current driver’s license and appropriate vehicle
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety advantageous
  • SB – High Risk Work Licence advantageous

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a construction supervision or similar role
  • Proven track record of successfully supervising sites and managing teams.
