Competitive Pay Rates:

  • $36+ per hour (Weekdays)
  • $50+ per hour (Saturdays)
  • $60+ per hour (Sundays)
  • $75+ per hour (Public Holidays)

Your Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to people with complex needs, helping them live independently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care – Supporting people to cook, shower, groom, take medication safely, move around their home, and more.
  • Community & social engagement – Encouraging and joining our clients as they participate in local activities.
  • Supporting clients with behavioural & mental health needs – Working with effective Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Practitioners.
  • Helping families with complex needs – Providing emotional and practical support.
  • Flexible travel across Sunshine Coast – Bringing care where it’s needed most.

What You Need to Get Started

Essential:

  • Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
  • Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
  • Driver’s license & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module & COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate (free online).
  • Positive attitude, passion, and physical fitness.

Preferred (but not required):

  • 2+ years of experience in disability support.
  • Experience with Restrictive Practices & PBSP.
  • Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Allied Health, or Mental Health.
  • Studying or qualified in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Psychology).
