Job Title: ICT Business Analyst

Employment Status: Full Time

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum + Superannuation

Location: Melbourne VIC 3000

Thrive Refugee Enterprise, located in Melbourne, Victoria, is seeking a qualified and dedicated ICT Business Analyst to join our team. Thrive is a not-for-profit organisation that helps refugees and authorised asylum seekers make a meaningful economic contribution to Australia by providing access to finance and business support services.

As part of our team, you will play a key role in improving and supporting the organisation’s business operations, compliance and operational risk activities. You will also lead development and reporting functions in our CRM system (Salesforce), Risk Management systems (Risk Hub), and other business platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of processes, systems, and ways of working to help the business respond to new and changing regulatory obligations.

• Automate regular processes and reports using available toolsets.

• Operational risk management (Risk Hub) expertise, including performing control testing to provide second-line assurance that controls are designed appropriately and are operating effectively.

• Management of cyber security awareness campaigns and monthly compliance training modules, reporting on the results.

• Provide constructive business analysis and reporting to ensure the effective and ongoing operational compliance/ risk/ security of the business.

• Customer relationship management (Salesforce) business expertise, including analysis, reporting, and ongoing development of CRM system. Take the role of administrator playing a lead role in optimising reporting requirements and further enhancements of the Salesforce CRM.

  • Develop training material and assist with training and on-boarding activities
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure CRM meets business requirements
  • Development and maintenance of CRM user views, reports and dashboards
  • Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions
  • Analysis and reporting of CRM user adoption and utilisation
  • Develop strategies and plans to improve CRM utilisation and efficiency

• HR management (Employment Hero) including onboarding/ offboarding procedures, document management and policy maintenance

• Provide general business support – IT systems support and maintaining relationships with third party suppliers

• Identifying and leading implementation of improvement opportunities to further develop and enhance Thrive’s capabilities via analysis outcomes.

Key skills and requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in IT/ Information systems

• Relevant proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Experience/skills in data set-up, analysis and reporting

• Strong knowledge of and skills in the use of Microsoft office suite in particular Excel, and Risk Hub

• Performance analytics and technical knowledge of Salesforce is essential

• Proven ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment

• Willingness to be mentored and engage in ongoing learning
