POSITION DESCRIPTION:
You are a member of the Financial Solutions Team and a valued member of AAG. You will assist the Manager and your colleagues in achieving positive client outcomes through accurate and timely attention to your key tasks, which include keeping the Finance Team Pipeline up to date, entering data into Daylite, Mercury and Apply Online, assisting with inputting loan applications, application follow-ups with clients and lenders, submitting applications to lenders and any other administrative tasks as requested.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Manager with complex loan servicing for our clients’ finance applications.
- Assist in drafting Summary of Income (SOI), Loan to Value Ratio (LVR), Complex Asset & Liabilities (A&L) spreadsheets and Lucid Chart/Org Structures for Managers review.
- Assist with training the Junior Support Officers in relation to credit policies, reading and interpreting complex business financials and structures.
- Review application submissions completed by the Junior Support Officers
- Review application submissions completed by the Junior Support Officers in Apply Online before they press Submit.
- Assist with sending out complex scenarios to lenders and then updating in the Matrix.
- Complete Servicing Calculators, Borrowing capacity, Funding Worksheets and Product Comparisons.
- Send emails to clients to request information to commence finance applications/loan reviews / Client Centre / Cash deck.
- Follow-up with lenders to ensure finance approval and settlement deadlines are met.
- Order upfront valuations and pricing requests.
- Complete Equipment Finance quotes and submit applications.
- Prepare loan change request forms, discharge requests, updating direct debit details, etc, as required.
- Attend and actively participate in all Finance Solutions Team meetings.
- Assist with lodging Commercial, Residential and SMSF Loan Applications and Reviews.
- Assist with client document sign-ups.
- Liaising with, clients, banks, settlements agents and solicitors where required
- Review bank loan contracts to ensure loan has been structured correctly.
- Review loan files daily as required.
As the successful Broker Support Officer you will have:
ESSENTIAL:
- Certificate IV or Diploma is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete tasks within required timeframes to meet deadlines.
- Results-driven and team-oriented.
- Work in a focused manner, with attention to detail.
- Logical thinking, problem-solving skills and sound mathematical skills.
- Follow directions, work cooperatively and effectively with other internal AAG teams to resolve problems and the ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Email; willing and able to learn, Daylite, Mercury, Synology and any other Finance Team software applications; and
