The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Clerk to contribute to the vital financial operations of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on overdue payments.

• Maintain accurate financial records for all aged care-related transactions, in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

• Prepare monthly reports, including accounts payable/receivable aging reports and general ledger entries.

• Coordinate with care staff and management to ensure the accurate processing of invoices and payments related to services provided to residents.

• Use aged care software systems to enter, track, and report on financial data.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial reports are completed on time.

• Ensure all transactions are in line with aged care financial regulations and policies.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, preferably within the aged care sector.

• Strong understanding of aged care systems, billing processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience using aged care finance software

• High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs.

• Previous experience in the aged care industry is highly desirable.
