Role Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a client-focused Data Migrations Specialist to join our Client Success team! In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for new firms transitioning their data to Smokeball – managing communication, reviewing migration files, scheduling migrations, and coordinating between our Australian-based technical analysts and clients. Strong communication and the ability to bridge the gap between clients and internal teams is essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Onboarding Specialists to ensure client’s needs are being met and the transition is as smooth as possible.
- Schedule and lead client meetings to set migration expectations, provide updates, and manage timelines.
- Project manage multiple migration clients with various deadlines, coordinating task completion to keep workflow on track.
- Update documentation and suggest process improvements on an ongoing basis
About you:
- 2-3 years of prior technical customer service preferably in a virtual setting
- Basic knowledge and understanding of database systems
- Technically savvy with an ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
- Excellent and detailed communication skills with both external clients and internal team members.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively to deliver client outcomes and overcome obstacles
- Ability to translate requests clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
