Based in Revesby, Sydney, we are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our team and drive our financial strategy.
The Role:
We are seeking a CPA-qualified Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations, including accounts, finance, treasury, and company secretarial responsibilities. This hands-on role requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of financial management in a technical industry. Reporting to the General Manager and Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our business and assist in the strategic management and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial risk mitigation.
- Handle company secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with ASIC regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Prepare and present financial statements and strategic insights to senior management.
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and stakeholders as required.
- Support business growth initiatives with financial analysis and planning.
About You:
- CPA qualification (essential) with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in financial management, ideally in manufacturing, mining, or equipment industries.
- Proven expertise in accounts, treasury, and company secretarial functions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MYOB, or similar) is advantageous.
