About the role

We are looking for a Country Driver (BFM or STD) based out of our Epping, Hallam, OR Montrose site to drive our B Double truck from site to Northern Victoria and back. This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start available. Rostered hours will be 4am / 5am start with a finish time of 4pm / 5pm, depending on how busy we are and the season. These hours are Monday – Friday.

Duties will likely include (but not be limited to):

  • Providing a high standard of customer service to Repurpose It customers
  • Complete daily pre-start checklist of the truck and/or trailer and report any issues as they occur
  • Complete all documentation required by government legislation regarding the driving of heavy vehicles on public roads e.g., daily run sheets and logbooks
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain records and documents regarding the delivering and sale of products and/or by-products
  • Correct use of 2 Way radio / UHF always when entering / exiting yards
  • Ensure truck / trailer is loaded correctly for the next day’s first delivery
  • All jobs are noted as completed on the driver app

About You

The following skills, experience and licenses are required for this role:

  • Current HR/HC/MC License
  • Current Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) Certification & Training
  • Loader Ticket with demonstrated experience operating a Loader
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position driving large truck and trailer combinations
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Team player who can work well with others with excellent work ethic
  • Police check, pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening (to be completed during the recruitment process), and Vic Roads Driver History Report upon commencement and every 6 months thereafter
