Marketing Specialist

Parramatta, New South Wales 2150, Australia • Full-time

Description

At Reggio Emilia we are passionate about laying the foundation for lifelong learning in early childhood. We believe that building strong connections with families and our community is essential for fostering a thriving, supportive environment for children. We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who can wear two hats—connecting with families to build lasting relationships and managing marketing efforts to share the story of our Early Learning Centres with the wider community. If you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-faceted role and is excited about combining relationship-building with creative marketing, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As the Marketing Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our Early Learning Centres and the families we serve, ensuring seamless communication, engagement, and satisfaction. You’ll also lead the charge in telling our story through strategic marketing, helping to grow our community and attract new families while nurturing existing relationships. From parent engagement events to crafting compelling marketing campaigns, you’ll help amplify our mission and create lasting connections both online and offline.

What You’ll Do:

• Build Strong Parent Relationships: Serve as the go-to point of contact for parents, offering support, answering questions, and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Ignite Parent Engagement: Develop and implement creative programs and initiatives to foster a strong sense of community, from parent workshops to fun family events that create lasting bonds.

• Craft Compelling Marketing Campaigns: Lead marketing efforts by developing and executing targeted campaigns to raise awareness of our values, programs, and events, both online and offline.

• Drive Centre Growth: Manage digital and print marketing materials, including social media platforms, website content, brochures, and email campaigns, to attract new families and keep current ones engaged.

• Coordinate Parent Events: Plan and execute a range of events that encourage parent participation, including open houses, Centre tours, and community events.

• Develop Marketing Collateral: Design, write, and distribute content that highlights the unique benefits of our early childhood education programs, showcasing our dedicated staff, children successes, and family stories.

• Manage Communications: Maintain consistent communication with parents through newsletters, emails, and other updates that keep families informed, excited, and involved in their child’s educational journey.

• Analyse and Improve: Use data to track the success of marketing initiatives and parent engagement programs, adjusting strategies as needed to continually improve results.

• Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure that all communications—whether internal or external—align with our values and brand voice, creating a unified and recognisable presence across all platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in parent relations, community engagement, or marketing (experience in early childhood education is a plus!).

• A passion for early childhood education and an understanding of how family involvement supports children’s growth.

• Marketing expertise, including experience with social media, content creation, and digital advertising.

• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for engaging diverse audiences.

• Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies that resonate with families.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools like social media platforms, email marketing, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in event planning or community outreach.

• A background in early childhood education or a strong understanding of child development.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO best practices for website and content management.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

• Make an Impact: Play a key role in shaping the educational journey of young children while building a stronger sense of community.

• A Dynamic Role: Enjoy the variety of working in both parent relations and marketing, with the opportunity to flex your creativity and organisational skills.

• Supportive, Collaborative Team: Work with passionate educators and staff who are dedicated to creating an enriching experience for children and families.

• Competitive Salary & Benefits: We offer a salary and benefits package that reflects the value we place on your skills and contributions. Please note this role is offering between $70,000 and $85,000 dependant on experience.

• Opportunities for Growth: Professional development and career growth opportunities to help you reach your potential.
