Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team in a FIFO role.

Safely Operate:

• Water Truck
• Flat Bed Truck
• Hook Bin Truck
• Service Truck
• Other MR or HR trucks as required

• Operate other machinery as required (if competent / licenced to do so), including:

• Forklifts, Telehandlers, excavators, skid steers, cranes, EWP etc

• Restrain loads as required

• Re-fuel (and supply other lubricants) to plant and machinery

• Dust suppression

• Transport waste or other equipment to/from Port Hedland

• Read and understand operations manual and safe operating procedures

• Read and understand Safe Work Method Statements, Job Hazard Analysis or other

• Adhere to all safety responsibilities as set out under the HSEMP

• Pre-start the machine as per dedicated machinery pre-start

• Basic general maintenance of machine as expected by an operator

• Basic preventative maintenance of machine as reasonably expected of an operator

• Basic troubleshooting of machine as expected of an operator

• Identify and report safety concerns of the machine immediately via pre-start and HSE advisor and/or supervisor

• Identify and report mechanical concerns of the machine immediately to site mechanic and/or supervisor

• Load and unload equipment from transportation

• Ensure equipment is properly positioned before turning it on and off

• Follow instructions from supervision / management

• Ensure work areas and machine are kept clean and tidy

Skills:

– Valid HR driver’s license

– Knowledge of road safety regulations

– Excellent driving skills

– Strong communication skills

– Ability to work independently

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 1 year experience as an HR Truck Driver in the mining, transport or construction industry

– Clean driving record

– Ability to lift heavy objects

– Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
