About the role
Ready for a rewarding role that keeps you active and engaged? We are looking for reliable, motivated and physically fit Poultry Farm Hands for ongoing work with an immediate start at our Parkwood Farm near MacGregor ACT. As our Farm Hand, you will be responsible for:
• Working with live chickens daily
• Food and water checks
• Operation of machine switchboards
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and sheds
• Ad hoc farm tasks as required
• Adhere to OH&S policies and company procedures.
Be proud to play a key role in ensuring fresh eggs reach supermarket shelves – your work directly supports the food chain and keeps communities stocked!
Role Details
Must have availability to work across seven days. Rotating shift roster.
• 7.00AM – 3.30PM.
Location: Parkwood Farm, near MacGregor and 10 minutes from Belconnen
Salary: Ranging from $23.46 to $30.55 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements
• Previous farming/outdoor work is not necessary but is desirable.
• Ability to handle repetitive movements, bending and some lifting.
• Own enclosed Safety Boots and High Vis Shirt.
• Clear communication skills, both when working independently and interacting as part of a team.
• A pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening is required
• A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable car.
