About the Role

Are you a driven operations professional with a strong focus on compliance, customer service, and continuous improvement? We are seeking a Regional Operations Coordinator to support our Regional Manager by ensuring the delivery of seamless operational, compliance, and customer experience processes across our Victorian transfer stations and resource recovery centres. Fully maintained motor vehicle provided, with travel required across our Victorian sites.

This role is pivotal in maintaining consistency and best practice across multiple sites, allowing the Regional Manager to focus on strategic growth and leadership. With a structured approach to audits, reporting, and service improvement, the position helps drive operational excellence and foster a high-quality experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Coordinate and maintain compliance frameworks across sites, ensuring adherence to all safety, environmental, and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct site audits, monitor contract performance, and prepare structured reports to support operational oversight.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify risks or inefficiencies, and proactively implement improvements.
  • Analyse customer feedback, conduct service-level follow-ups, and enhance customer engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams and leadership to align operational practices with strategic goals.
  • Act as a point of liaison between site operations, senior management, and external stakeholders to maintain open and effective communication

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • Demonstrated experience in operational management, compliance monitoring, or process coordination within a multi-site or service-driven environment.
  • Strong ability to implement and monitor compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory, contractual, safety, and environmental standards (EPA, OH&S, WorkSafe).
  • Proven success in enhancing customer service standards, tracking KPIs, and meeting service-level guarantees.
  • Experience in interpreting customer insights, resolving service gaps, and driving improvements.
  • Ability to conduct audits, maintain accurate compliance records, and prepare high-quality reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency with data and analytics tools to support compliance and performance tracking.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address emerging operational risks before escalation.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust across teams and stakeholder groups
  • .Experience in coaching or supporting frontline teams to uphold operational and service excellence.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in waste management, recycling, resource recovery, logistics, or customer-focused industries, with an understanding of relevant regulatory environments.
