The Opportunity
Morgans is looking for a Brisbane-based Senior Business Analyst who is passionate about solving business challenges and driving project success. In this role, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of key business issues, processes, and opportunities, and play a key role in defining and delivering solutions that help Morgans achieve its business objectives. You will be engaged in the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and initiation to implementation, overseeing business analysis activities and testing at each stage.

What you will be doing
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations
- Solicit business requirements, document functional specifications and high-level solution designs based on best practice in user experience
- Identify, evaluate and document business process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities
- Assist in the analysis and selection of suitable internal and third-party solutions
- Contribute to creating and executing system test plans to ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
- Contribute to the development of change management strategies, including creating user and training documentation and conducting training
- Use data and process modelling techniques to create system specifications

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical language into user-friendly terms
- Proven analytical and report writing skills
- Experience working closely with technical and project specialists to design and implement solutions

- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in high-pressure business environments
- Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Experience in developing and executing functional testing
- Proven ability to manage 3rd party vendor relationships and deliverables
