McInnes Wilson Lawyers have an opportunity for a newly admitted lawyer with less than 2 years of PAE to join our Brisbane Corporate and Commercial Advisory Team on a permanent full-time basis.
Our Corporate and Commercial Advisory Team acts for clients across a range of sectors and sizes including SMEs, listed entities and State and Federal Government.
The Role
In the role you will be required to:
- Manage corporate and commercial transactions (including share and asset acquisitions and divestments, mergers, and capital raising transactions) and provide transaction related advice.
- Undertake research and draft technical advices across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
- Provide a broad range of general corporate and commercial support and advice to clients. This includes reviewing and drafting various agreements (i.e. shareholder agreements, service agreements, joint venture agreements).
- Manage client relationships.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will have been admitted recently (0-2 years) and is looking for a role to specialise in corporate and commercial work.
- Strong technical skills with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- You will also have a commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering quality and value to clients.
