Opportunity
As our new Technical Business Analyst at our financial services client in Sydney, you’ll work within a team focused on a large program of change and data focused technology transformation and investment.
You’ll also:
- Ensure that all end-to-end data processes and technologies are operationally efficient and ready to go into production.
- Work as part of the project team to streamline risk reporting by enhanced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data flows.
- Work with Data Engineers and Architects across the AWS cloud, to produce a best practice data pipeline future solution.
- Use your Data focused technical BA experience to recommend improvements and efficiencies to current methods of operating.
- Work in a hybrid fashion, working in the office two days a week.
We need you to have
You’ll have demonstrable and significant experience (at least 4 years) as a Technical Business Analyst focused on Data Engineering processes, in Banking or Financial institutions. You’ll also have:
• Advanced understanding of ETL pipelines, SQL and SQL Server.
• Proven history of working in Banking or Financial institutions and understanding reporting flows within Banking is essential.
• Background working within an Agile environment with Jira and Confluence.
• History of working with business end-users/ stakeholders, across the end-to-end project lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, to work seamlessly with multiple internal stakeholders and their processes/ documents.
• Must have full working rights (Citizenship, Permanent Residency, Visa with no restrictions) in Australia.
