About the Role

We have an opportunity available to join our macadamia farming operations based in Bucca (25 minutes from Bundaberg Central). The role will provide overall support to the Farm Manager in all areas of farm operations, including irrigation, machine operation, nutrition and harvesting. The successful candidate will provide direction, training and support to farming employees, whilst fostering a workplace that supports the company values, improving standards, operational productivity and efficiency.

Ideally you will have a previous background working in orchards, small crops, cotton or grain.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in farming operations, machinery and equipment
• Experience managing or leading a small team
• Experience handling and applying chemicals using schedules, registers and reports
• Experience working with irrigation systems
• Experience and comfort in using app-based technologies
• A safety-orientated and can-do mindset
• Current and unrestricted QLD Drivers Licence
