About the opportunity:
As our highly valued Service Retention Specialist, you will form an integral part of our Service team. The primary function of the service retention specialist is to reengage with lapsed customers to generate additional service appointments.
You will proactively communicate with the customers, effectively handle enquiry or objections to generate service bookings.
The Service Retention Specialist will assist service, Sales (New and Used) as well as the Finance department and, in the driveway, finance end of month/ term lead generation, lost leads follow up, database lead generation. etc.
This is a busy and rewarding role requiring a positive attitude and a goal orientated mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
● Book inbound and outbound service inquiry using required booking system
● Respond to personal, telephone or written inquiries and requests and arranges bookings to facilitate the timeliness of servicing of motor vehicles.
● Accurately record customer and vehicle and he service to be undertaken.
● Efficiently undertakes necessary administration duties which may include word processing, data entry, filing, mail dispatch, facsimile, or photocopying equipment operation.
● Manages sales and service follow-up calls in a professional, consistent, and timely manner
● Promptly and thoroughly resolves customer concerns using established methods and processes
● Reviews and maintains customer profiles for data accuracy and integrity
● Conducts customer retention campaigns via phone using established methods and processes
● Evaluates and identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience
● Mature attitude with sensitivity to our customers confidential information
● Maintains call centre database by entering information
● Receiving inbound calls and enquires from existing clients
● Manage large amounts of Outbound/Inbound calls in a timely manner
● Keep record of all conversations in our call centre database in a comprehensible way
● A strong telephone presence and ability to communicate effectively with automotive customers
● Determines requirements by working with customers. Explain products, services, prices, and answer questions for customers
You will also be:
● An excellent communicator and collaborator with strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills.
● A proactive problem solver who is process-driven and highly organised, with strong initiative and the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
● Able to meet operational deadlines and achieve set sales targets and profit margins.
