About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Stock Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory control-related activities, including controlling the inward and outward flow of vehicles, managing our current vehicle stock, and communicating with clients and the sales team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and facilitating the inventory purchase process with accuracy and timeliness.
You’ll also manage control measures to ensure errors and discrepancies are addressed and resolved. As a member of our team, you’ll have opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Experience within an automotive (retail) dealership is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- VicRoads registrations, disposals, and acquisitions.
- Customer contact, including updates on ordered vehicles, booking clients for delivery.
- Compiling and obtaining deal paperwork.
- Managing all car registration functions including ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements.
- Ensures that all tasks required to be completed on a vehicle are actioned.
- Facilitates the administrative inventory purchase process with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensures inventory is kept up to date within the DMS system.
- Manages control measures to ensure errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Proficiency with automotive DMS systems is essential (Titan experience highly desired).
- A strong working knowledge of VicRoads systems and processes is required.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
