We are searching for an experienced Civil Supervisor to work on one of our Major Tier 1 projects in Brisbane’s North. The candidate must have proven experience working on a similar site within a similar role. We are looking for candidates who fit with our company culture and are genuinely interested in leading and motivating effective work crews to provide quality works to our clients in a safe and rewarding work environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing scope of works
- Managing multiple crews
- Procurement
- Ensure all site works are planned and delivered in compliance with required technical specifications, relevant legislation, approvals and standards and deed obligations
- Management of subcontractors
- Completion of site-specific documentation
- Maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders
- Commitment to Safety, ensuring WH&S requirements and risk controls are adhered to
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Experience working on road lighting
- ITS traffic signals and URD Projects doing conduit works, pits, footings, culverts, and plinths for cabinets
- Knowledge of all BCC, TMR & Energex Standards
- Ability to run own crews with support from a dedicated project manager
- Ability to problem solve on the go
- Experience working with apprentices and trainees in a leadership position
- Must be a safety leader and willing to commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Open HR Licence
- High-Risk Licence – WP/DG/C2/C6
- Machinery tickets
