Your New Role

A rare and exciting opportunity for sales professionals looking for their next step in the Travel industry. Working as part of the Sales ANZ Team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for maximising and managing business activity for all Gfob brands in line with sales targets. The role covers southern Queensland and northern New South Wales and requires regular regional and interstate travel.

What will you be doing?

  • Create and implement a business plan to maximise sales within the assigned territory
  • Conduct regular sales calls and sales visits to build and strengthen strategic relationships within the territory
  • Develop and achieve sales targets by promoting the Gfob brand and Gfob products
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with travel agencies, conducting regular sales calls and visits
  • Monitor sales figures and identify sales opportunities for market growth
  • Regular intrastate travel to visit travel partners in assigned territory, and interstate and international travel to represent and promote Gfob

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Travel and Tourism Industry, in either a BDM role or sales role
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven by sales and results, with a passion for travel
  • Flexibility and ability to work outside of business hours as required
  • Full, permanent working rights within Australia with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
