Guest Services Agent/Tour Guide

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for an energetic and experienced Tours and Activities Assistant / Guest Service Agent at Fitzroy Island Resort. This full-time Live-on role combines two dynamic positions, allowing you to work 2 days a week in Tours and Activities and 3 days as a Guest Service Agent.

Position Description:

As the first point of contact for our resort guests, you will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

– Conducting tours such as fish feeding, guided bush walks, and educational talks.

– Overseeing kids’ club activities, arts and crafts, and adult programming.

– Assisting with guest check-in/out, responding to inquiries, and managing administrative tasks.

– Collaborating with the Front Office Department to ensure a seamless guest experience.

About You:

Successful applicants should possess:

– Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

– Knowledge of resort operations and local environment.

– Strong administration and data entry abilities with attention to detail.

– Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

– Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.

– A friendly demeanor to maintain a positive atmosphere.

Essential Requirements:

– Working with Children – Blue Card.

– First Aid certification.

– Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

– Permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
