The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on sales leader to drive new business growth while ensuring our employer partners and their teams reap the full benefits of a Fitness Passport partnership. This role is a true win-win-win — helping businesses enhance their employee wellness offerings, supporting our Business Development team’s success, and fueling Fitness Passport’s expansion.
Balancing leadership with direct sales execution, you’ll guide and empower the team while actively securing new employer partnerships that align with our mission. Your impact will be felt in stronger relationships, more engaged employees, and a growing, thriving network.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support a team of Business Development professionals, ensuring they achieve their targets while delivering real value to employers and their teams.
- Proactively build and cultivate employer partnerships that align with our key selection criteria, fostering long-term collaboration and mutual value.
- Coach and mentor the team to refine their sales approach, improving conversion rates, and ensuring a strong pipeline of new opportunities.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Attend expos, industry events, and employer meetings to promote Fitness Passport and strengthen key relationships.
- Ensure accurate CRM record-keeping and maintain visibility over the team’s pipeline and activity.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align sales efforts with broader business goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing and actioning ideas to enhance processes, training, and overall sales effectiveness.
About You
- A proven sales professional with experience leading or mentoring a business development or sales team.
- Strong commercial acumen with success in securing new business and hitting sales targets.
- A natural leader who enjoys coaching and supporting others to succeed.
- Confident in managing key relationships, presenting to stakeholders, and negotiating deals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business with a mix of strategy and hands-on execution.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to adapt and pivot when needed.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven with excellent communication skills.
