About the role:
FGB are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Brand Manager to work with the Marketing Team on a part time basis (0.8) for a 6-month maximum term contract. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be joining a fun, hardworking and dynamic team where you will create & implement brand strategies to meet company sales, profit and strategic objectives.
As a Brand Manager, you’ll be working on things like:
- Developing and executing strategic brand plans
- Monitoring and analysing market performance of our brands and key competitors and their activity in the marketplace
- Acting as brand champion for its representation in the market in all forms of communication and messaging
- Monitoring and providing insight into sales and profitability of our brands against budget
- Providing direction and oversight for all online activity for our brands, in conjunction with the Communications Manager
- Managing agency, third party and supplier relationships.
- Providing direction to graphics projects
- Managing the NPD process and representing the brands at gate meetings

To be successful in this role, ideally you will:
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a brand marketing role
- Be degree qualified in Marketing
- Possess demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
- Have outstanding presentation skills
- Be able to demonstrate strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Have an understanding of product manufacturing processes
- Have a working knowledge of ATL / BTL advertising & promotion
- Be comfortable operating autonomously and making decisions
- Have NPD experience (not essential)
