Workplace Health Consultant

Workplace Services – Consultant • Wickham, New South Wales 2293, Australia • Full-time

Description

Are you a health professional looking for a new challenge?

Are you passionate about keeping people healthy, happy and safe?

The role requires the development and delivery of a range of health and wellbeing programs, both tech-enabled and face-to-face. Our customers vary from small local organisations to some of Australia’s biggest companies. You’ll use your background as a practicing health professional and interest in health promotion to help people optimise their health. There are opportunities to blend this work with delivering clinical allied health services in our large, modern clinic in Wickham NSW, and/or take a role as a leader of these services for our business if you have the experience and drive to do so.

Junior or senior role?

We can accommodate either. A senior role will have additional responsibilities relating to product development, project planning, strategy and customer relationship management, and candidates for a senior role will need to have at least one of the Desirable Criteria listed below. There is definitely an opportunity for less experienced staff to grow and develop.

Essential criteria

• Current registration as a health professional (physio, EP, dietitian, OT, RN)

• Highly organised and able to manage simple projects and competing demands

• Able to prepare clear and engaging presentations, and comfortable presenting to groups

• Intermediate to advanced IT skills – particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• A track record of improving, innovating and excelling in your previous roles

• Enjoy variety in your work

• Unrestricted drivers licence and able to travel, particularly in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley, with occasional travel further afield.

• Ability to work flexible hours – our office hours are standard, but we deliver services when clients need them, which can mean some early starts (and early finishes!)

Desirable criteria

• Front end, CX or UX development skills – we have an in-house tech team with a full time CTO and two developers.

• Video editing and production skills

• Statistical analysis and reporting skills, for example using Microsoft PowerBI

• Experience in B2B account or relationship management

• Experience developing training or health education packages for workplace customers, particularly online packages

What about service delivery?

Regardless of seniority, service delivery is part of the role. At Ethos Health we strongly believe in ‘leading by doing’, and not just ‘leading by telling’. Being able to help deliver services on the ground is a key requirement for all health professionals in the business, up to and including the CEO.

What does an average week look like?

Typically, a mix of service delivery (onsite, or remotely) and product development, project planning and post-program reporting. Depending on your background and expertise, service delivery could include a range of presentations, training programs, team challenges, research projects, health strategy planning, workshop facilitation and more, across varied domains of health, including nutrition, alcohol, physical activity, healthy weight, mental health, health promotion, fatigue, musculoskeletal injury and more. Expect some time out of the office delivering services at client sites, with the balance working with the team in Wickham.

What don’t we do?

• Rehabilitation provider work

• Case management

• EAP provision

Why should I apply?

• Great company culture

• Innovative and award-winning products and services

• Diverse client base with some of Australia’s most recognisable businesses

• A truly exciting pipeline of work with growing opportunities

• Competitive remuneration, with paid travel
