About the role
Reporting to the AFL Lead Trainer & Myotherapist, you will be responsible for:
- Sports trainer duties across all EFC football programs; AFL, AFLW, VFLM & VFLW (inclusive of hydration, strapping, massage, first aid)
- Commitment to 1 game day shift per week plus various training shifts as agreed
- Working as part of a highly attentive, passionate & positive team
- Uphold best practice systems & procedures to ensure elite support to a high performing environment
About you
The successful candidate must have the following skills experience and attributes:
- Sports trainer certification – level 1 SMA sports trainer
- Level 1 Advanced first aid certificate (CPR)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
- Permanent Residency in Australia, or appropriate visa to work permanently
Other skills, experience and attributes which are highly desirable, but not essential include:
- Experience working in an elite sporting environment
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to provide a high level of energy in the workplace
- Confidence to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly with elite athletes, coaches and management
- Flexibility in working hours
