About the position
Based in Ipswich, we are looking for an experienced professional who is able to hit the ground running. The Client Services Officer position is a dynamic role that acts as a key bridge for families and clients accessing our group programs. This role ensures the right information is up to date and to hand to ensure our fantastic support workers can deliver safe, quality care.

Key Accountabilities include:
- Work with relevant stakeholders to understand individual client support needs and goals including health and welfare requirements eg seizure, medication, challenging behaviour supports etc
- Follow up communication with clients, families and carers as needed
- Provide responsive client supports if required
- Support of the Intake Process for Adult clients
- Ensure service agreements and quoting is up to date for clients under your management
- Routinely undertaking client file recording and reviews to ensure information is up to date and accurate using client management system and electronic client files.
- Prepare NDIS Progress Reports for plan reviews
- Support sound and timely Incident and Feedback management including risk assessment reviews
- Support program and activity planning
- Assist with budget management for group activities
- In collaboration with the People and Culture team, identify client specific recruitment and training needs for your clients
- Participate in support worker recruitment activities as required.
- Assist with support worker field supervision and coaching conversations
- Undertake reporting and participate in internal meetings that support effective client support
- Participate in the Client Services On-Call Roster
- Perform duties in line with Focal’s Standard Operating Procedures
About you

To be eligible for this role you would have at least 3 years’ experience in client coordination, preferably in the disability sector and/or with young people, with a relevant qualification in community services or a willingness to work towards one.
- Excellent administration skills and comfortable with using digital tools
- Good decision-making and communication skills ensuring effective supports and incident response.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence along with a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Blue Card & Yellow / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Card
- Completion NDIS E Learning Modules
- Strong work ethic and good reliability
This position is part-time (0.9 FTE) aligned with a Level 4 classification in the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award.
