Heavy Diesel Mechanic – Workshop

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to join our team at JMH Group in Geraldton, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of trade-related tasks, including vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs. This is a full-time position with regular working hours.

Skills:

– Proven experience as a qualified tradesperson

– Strong technical skills in your specific trade

– Excellent problem-solving abilities

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

– Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs according to job specifications

– Troubleshooting issues and providing effective solutions

– Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately

– Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

– Keeping accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

– Certification or qualification as a tradesperson in a relevant mechanical field (e.g. Mobile Plant Mechanic, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic)

– Will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and a national police clearance

– Must be a Geraldton resident or must be prepared to relocate for the role

– Must have Australian Work Rights
