About the Role
You would be responsible for assisting to oversee the operational management of drug and alcohol testing and collections services, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities. Working closely with the AusHealth network to ensure accurate and timely collections, reporting, and data management. Similarly, execution of collection procedures in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with safety and legal requirements. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks effectively.
The role will actively identity continuous improvement opportunities including training and upskilling required and will also monitor the quality of collectors including tracking and analysing errors. The role will interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
What will my day to day look like?
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Proactively manage operational risks and escalate issues to operational leadership as necessary.
• Supervise and support collection staff to ensure quality control.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures and documentation.
• Conduct regular internal audits to verify that all processes and documentation comply with legal and company requirements.
• Monitor national and state licenses, legislation and regulations to ensure AusHealth Work is kept up to date with the latest information.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures and documentation to improve efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
• Identify, develop and maintain relevant service policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and data management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong administration and organisational skills and good attention to detail.
• Knowledge of drug and alcohol testing procedures, regulatory guidelines.
• The ability to develop, maintain positive client relationships and ensure delivery of high-quality service.
