Station Hand Couple

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated couple to join our team as Stationhands at Natal Downs/Longtin. This hands-on role involves cattle work, mustering, feeding, data management, homestead maintenance, and general station duties. Training will be provided where needed, and successful candidates will enjoy a diverse and rewarding role in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cattle Work & Mustering – Mustering cattle (horses/bikes), yard work, weaner feeding, and stock health monitoring.

• Waters & Feeding – Checking/maintaining watering points, feeding, and supplementing stock as required.

• Station & Equipment Maintenance – Fencing, yard upkeep, vehicle/machinery servicing, and property maintenance.

• Data & Records Management – Recording stock movements, treatments, and operational tasks.

• Homestead & General Duties – Upkeep of the homestead complex and gardens, assisting with team operations, and additional station tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience:

• Confident handling livestock with care and patience.

• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Basic machinery operation and maintenance knowledge.

• Commitment to workplace safety and animal welfare.
