Now, we’re looking for a Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the crew at Mt Ida. If you’re hands-on, resourceful, and thrive in a small team where your skills actually matter—this is the role for you.

🔧 Auxiliary gear – skid steers, gensets & more

Your Day-to-Day

🔩 Keep the fleet running – servicing, diagnosing, repairing.

🔩 Fix engines, transmissions, steering columns & more.

🔩 Sort breakdowns fast – keep operations moving.

🔩 Follow safety procedures – no shortcuts.

🔩 Log work in Pronto – track maintenance history.

🔩 Stay ahead – preventative maintenance is key.

What You’ll Need

✔️ Minimum 2 years’ experience on mobile plant post-trade.

✔️ Relevant Trade Certificate or Mechanical Engineering qualification.

✔️ Valid Australian driver’s licence & National Police Clearance.

✔️ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen.

✔️ Franna, IT, or forklift ticket (bonus).
