About the Role
Located at our Head Office in Elermore Vale, the Training Services LMS & SMS Administrator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the digital learning experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our student management systems. This role blends instructional design with system expertise, supporting the optimisation of our platforms—particularly aXcelerate—to deliver engaging and accessible education for all learners.
You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, leverage AI-driven tools to build interactive content, and drive process improvements that streamline student administration.
In this full time role, successful applicants should be able to confidently:
LMS Administration & Instructional Design
• Develop SCORM-compliant, engaging digital content and assessments
• Apply adult learning principles to create dynamic learning experiences
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify learning needs and instructional strategies
• Explore AI tools for content creation and learner engagement
• Manage multimedia assets (videos, graphics, simulations)
• Continuously evaluate and improve instructional materials
SMS Administration
• Streamline enrolment, scheduling, reporting, and compliance workflows
• Train staff on effective use of SMS, primarily within aXcelerate
• Troubleshoot issues and monitor performance of systems
• Support the integration between LMS and SMS
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
• Lead digital learning and system optimisation projects
• Identify opportunities for innovation and implement improvements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and compliance requirements
What You Bring
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Experience in instructional design and LMS administration
• Strong knowledge of aXcelerate and SMS/LMS platforms
• Proficiency with content development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe, Canva)
• Experience in RTO and/or VET environments
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Understanding of National Accredited Qualifications and compliance
Desirable
• Qualifications in Adult Education or Instructional Design
• Experience with AI-driven content tools

• Working with Children Check
• Child Protection Training
• National Police Check
• Drivers Licence
