About the Role:
We are seeking a Construction Manager to play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the construction phase of our renewable energy projects. As a CM, you will oversee and manage all aspects of construction, ensuring your project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Planning, organising, and coordinating the construction activities of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.
• Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Overseeing contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Managing project resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact timelines or quality.
• Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and handover.
• Conducting regular site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure adherence to design and construction standards.
• Managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating project updates, milestones, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Construction Manager, Senior Supervisor/Senior Foreman/Superintendent., preferably in the renewable energy or civil construction industry
• Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Supervision, Engineering or related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel and work on projects around Australia, including Fly in Fly out (FiFo) or Drive in Driv out (DiDo) assignments, on rotating rosters.
