Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer designs and creates all online and offline materials and visuals for the ACE EdVenture Group and its subsidiaries. The role is also required to create graphic design to develop unique typefaces, colour schemes, and design elements that best portray the company’s brands.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating online and offline visuals for marketing and company use.
• Design concepts that adhere to the creative briefs provided in a timely manner.
• Ensure that designs are compliant to the provided brand guidelines (if available) which includes colour, shapes, logos, and design elements.
• Creating brand and visual guidelines for the respective brands (if applicable).
• Creating work that is captivating and informative to the respective audiences.
• Working collaboratively with and communicating with the respective content teams.
• Explore and apply current design language and trends.
• Determining creative direction if and when needed.
• Maintaining and/or developing intra- and inter-department workflow and communication.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years in a graphic design position with a portfolio of work and successes.
• Computer fluency in Mac and PC.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other computer-aided design software.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
• Typography knowledge.
• Strong visual communication skills.
• Able to conceptualise creative ideas and execute them effectively.
• Understanding browser capabilities.
• Creativity and originality.
• Fluency of ideas.
• Attention to detail.
• Occasional weekend availability (event-dependent).
• Adaptability to be able to work under pressure (season-dependent).
• Collaboration.
• Ability to prioritise and handle multiple assignments.
• Savviness with digital and social media trends is a big plus.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS is also a plus.
