About One Composites

As part of the Zone Manufacturing group in picturesque Coolum Beach, One Composites is a leading manufacturer of composite components for the Zone RV range of luxury off-road caravans as well as other non-group Australian manufacturers. We specialise in bespoke and mid-volume production using contemporary composite techniques, 3D-printed and hybrid molds (from the largest 3D printer in Australia), and robotic parts trimming.

About the Opportunity

This position involves assisting in various stages of composite manufacturing, including:

  • Mould preparation & demoulding of cured components
  • Material handling
  • Hand lamination
  • Vacuum infusion support
  • Detailing/finishing tasks
  • The chance to support CNC/Robot operation tasks

The role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team environment. Full training is provided, making it a great opportunity for those looking to start a career in composite manufacturing.

One Composites has an exceptional development program for those wanting to develop with a progressive industry leader. We’re hiring for full-time roles but are open to exploring part-time arrangements for the right candidates, including those needing flexibility for school runs or those semi-retired and looking to stay active in a hands-on role.

Desirable Attributes and Experience

  • A background in composite production, automotive panel beating, spray painting, bodywork repair, building trades or similar.
  • Experience using hand tools is essential.
  • Process workers with an eye for detail.
  • Strong team contributor and good communication skills.
  • Safety-first focus.

Important Information:

  • Applicants must have full rights to work in Australia with no restrictions.
  • Successful candidates may be required to provide a federal police clearance check.
  • Zone RV conducts random drug and alcohol tests to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Hourly rate: Permanent roles. $27-$32.50 dependent on experience. This is a base-rate range exclusive of overtime rates and superannuation.
