ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team to operate equipment to OEM standards, support maintenance, perform boiler making to Australian standards, and drive safe, efficient results—all while working in a supportive team environment and following Ravenswood Gold’s high safety and performance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities as instructed by your direct report in a safe and competent manner whilst adhering to all statutory requirements and conforming to Australian code of practise for welding and industry best practise
  • Ensure all relevant paper is done Prestart, JSA, lift plans etc. in a legible manner. All paperwork is to be completed before starting each task
  • Utilising of resources to undertake duties as instructed
  • Ensure all tooling and equipment are used and maintained in a professional manner
  • Be available for extra training as relevant courses become available
  • Coordinate daily/weekly resources, labour, materials, for all maintenance related tasks to support the maintenance plan ie crane, EWP and general hire equipment.
  • Ensure supporting documentation is completed daily, timesheets, handover, job completion notes etc. Completed paperwork returned to the planning group daily.
  • Continual improvements on developing maintenance schedules, service sheets, standard jobs, critical spares, application parts list, component schedules.
  • Maximising resource availability within the parameters of the budget.
  • Assist with the planning and scheduling of shut down works as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Driver’s license – Class C
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) licence (not essential)
  • Dogman and Rigger qualifications
  • Certificate III Engineering – Engineering Fabrication. Post trade experience of 2-4 years
  • Working at Heights, EWP (not essential)
  • Computer based management system (CMS) pronto (preferred)
  • Computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft packages.
