Role Overview:
We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Events Coordinator with serious get-things-done energy! You’ll play a key role in bringing our growth strategy to life by helping dream up, promote, and pull off both online and in-person events. You’ll be hands-on from start to finish, helping spark creative event ideas, pumping up promotions across our marketing channels, coordinating with the awesome people who make it all happen, keeping things running smoothly on the big day, and wrapping it all up with post-event insights and wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly Smokeball webinar program, including concept creation, speaker coordination, and on-the-day delivery
- Collaborate with the Australian marketing team to drive attendance and engagement across Smokeball events
- Support key sponsored events (e.g. conferences, exhibitions and gala dinners) through logistics coordination, pre-event briefings, and liaising with event partner
- Assist the Events Manager with Smokeballs major in-house events like ‘Spark’, roadshows, and seminars, from planning and research to reporting and supplier coordination
- Contribute to Smokeball’s promotional efforts through landing page creation, campaign support, and event collateral management
- Contribute to Smokeball’s promotional efforts by supporting aspects such as landing page creation, supplier management and the delivery of design briefs.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum two years’ event experience in any industry
- Outstanding time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- A strong ‘make it happen’ attitude
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
