Home Care Worker

Do you like engaging with older people whilst cleaning their home?

Belong Blue Mountains has a Permanent Part- time role of 42 hours per fortnight with possibility of additional hours as required.

The position provides domestic assistance and shopping support to assist clients in the Blue Mountains remain independent in their own home. Services are provided on a regular scheduled basis. This position requires travel to and from an older person’s home and requires you to have a comprehensively insured vehicle,( mileage reimbursed), and the ability to engage with participants whilst cleaning.

This position will be covered by the Social Community and Home Care Award (SCHADS), Home Care Level 3

Run by a team of dedicated workers and passionate volunteers, our Centres are safe, welcoming places in which we work to build the strength, wellbeing, resilience and cohesion of our growing Blue Mountains community. We provide services and activities for people of all ages with many different needs. We aim to be inclusive and build connectedness and belonging to improve wellbeing, quality of life and social cohesion within the Blue Mountains community.
