The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

– Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment

– Excellent organizational and time management skills

– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

– Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for production equipment

– Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks

– Monitor equipment performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

– Procure necessary parts, tools, and materials for maintenance activities

– Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate

– Collaborate with production managers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Qualifications:

– NZQF Level 5 Electrical/Mechanical Fitter

– 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

– Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial machinery

– Experience with CMMS software

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
